WOODEN MAXI – STAMP “WHAT TIME IS IT?”

KIT INCLUDES:

- ergonomic wooden maxi stamp (8,5 cm)

- two cubes with 12 faces (2 cm):

- red cube with hours: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

- blue cube with minutes, in 5 minute increments: 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55.

GAME RULES:

Place the dial stamp on a piece of paper.

Roll the "hours" die and the "minutes" die.

Display the time on the clock printed on the piece of paper.

It is desirable that children have previously mastered the following basic concepts:

- Be able to count to 60

- Count by 5

- Know that one hour:

* consists of 60 minutes

* consists of 4 quarters of 15 minutes

* consists of 2 halves of 30 minutes

* consists of 12 fractions of 5 minutes each

- To know that time can be expressed in analogue and digital format.

The Maxi Dice Stamp allows us to practise time in both analogue and digital format.

RECOMMENDED AGE:

from 2 to 6 years

OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME:

- to consolidate knowledge of time;

- to learn how to tell time in digital format;

- learn to determine time in analogue format;

- develop attention and observation

- improve mathematical logic.

Play also helps the adult work individually with the child, both in the classroom and at home or in therapy.
