ASSOCIATION GAME “FIND A PAIR” 

THE SET INCLUDES:

- 68 sturdy cardboard cards (9 x 9 cm)

The game comprise 68 cards with photographs representing objects or scenes that are familiar to the childs environment, for forming 34 pairs by association

- Toothpaste/toothbrush;

- Bee/honey;

- Shoes/shoelaces;

- Knife/fork;

- Table/chair;

- Key/padlock.

Children can play individually or in small groups.

The cards have a self-correcting system on the back consisting of a five-coloured band which should match perfectly when the association is right.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE:

- Incorporation and development of basic vocabulary.

- Understanding of the concept of "logical association".

- Acquisition of the ability to relate objects functionally.

- Introduction to using abstract thought (acts as a basis for establishing mental associations and taking the first steps from concrete thought to abstract thought).

- Learning to form suppositions and explanations for possible relationships between objects.

- Improvement to psycho-motor coordination skills in handling the counters and pairing them up.
