GAME “STUDYING THE PROPERTIES OF MAGNETS: “MAGNETIC PYRAMIDS”” 

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

- 2 base holders for pyramids. Base height: 10.5 cm.

- 8 magnetic rings/discs (2 red, 2 green, 2 blue and 2 yellow).

- 35 double-sided photo cards (70 photos with examples). Card size: 13.5 x 7 cm.

- 2 wooden bases for mounting example cards. 

An observation and manipulation game that allows children to discover the “magical” properties of magnetism (in one case the disks will stick to each other due to the attraction of their magnetic poles, and in another case they will repel each other due to the opposite effect).

The point of the game is to string magnetic disks onto the base of the pyramid. Layout options are shown on photo cards with examples.

Example photographs are numbered from 1 to 70, increasing in accordance with the level of difficulty:

- Photos 1-12 (green bar): using one or two discs

- Photos 13-34 (blue stripe): using three discs

- Photos 35-70 (red stripe): using four discs

OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME:

- develop attention and memory;

- develop fine motor skills;

- develop identification and classification skills;

- develop abstract thinking;

- develop observation skills, both of the objects themselves and of their characteristics and functions;

- improve psychomotor coordination;

- develop hand-eye coordination;

- develop spatial perception;

- develop color discrimination;

- explain to the child about the phenomena and properties of magnetism in a simple and accessible way (using examples).

RECOMMENDED AGE:

From 3 to 8 years.

The format and materials for the game are designed to accommodate large numbers of children, whether in groups or pairs.

Play also helps the adult work individually with the child, both in the classroom and at home or in therapy.
